Sidney Crosby Alex Ovechkin Jonothan Toews View Results     Season Opening Weekend  Posted by: Admin Monday, September 14, 2009 The Silvertips concluded the 2009 pre-season with a 2-1 victory in Victoria over the South Island Thunderbirds on Sunday.   The regular season for the BC Major Midget League commences this weekend, with the North Island Silvertips hosting the Greater Vancouver Canadians on Saturday (5:30 pm) and Sunday (10:30 am).
