Sidney Crosby Alex Ovechkin Jonothan Toews View Results     Exhibition Game  Posted by: Admin Thursday, September 10, 2009 This Saturday, September 12th, the Silvertips are hosting the South Island Thunderbirds in their final home exhibition game of the pre-season. The Silvertips roster is set and the team is ready for action.  Face-off is at 5:30 pm at Nanaimo Ice Center 1 (NIC 1).   Next Weekend...The 'Tips open the regular season this year at home, on September 19 & 20. They will take on the visiting Greater Vancouver Canadians.
